Terms of use

Murmell provides a canvas and the cloud machines the agents run on. Your code stays yours, and the agent accounts you bring stay yours and are billed by their own vendors. You are responsible for what your agents are told to do and for the code they are pointed at.

What Murmell provides

A canvas in your browser, the cloud machines the agents run on, and a private repository for each project. Murmell starts the agent CLIs you already pay for. It does not sell model access and does not resell tokens.

What stays yours

Your code. Murmell claims no ownership of anything you or your agents write, and no licence to it beyond what running the service requires: storing the project directory on a machine while it works, and pushing it to the repository you connected.

Your agent accounts. The subscription or API key you bring is yours, is billed by its own vendor, and can be removed from Murmell at any time.

What is expected of you

• You have the right to the code you point an agent at, and to hand a link to whoever you hand it to.
• You are responsible for what your agents do. An agent runs with the instructions you give it and the credentials you connect.
• The machines are for running your project. Not for mining, not for attacking anybody, not for hosting a service to the public, and not for getting around another vendor limits.
• You keep to the terms of the agent vendors whose accounts you bring.

Availability

Murmell is early. There is no uptime guarantee, machines are restarted for deploys, and an idle canvas is stopped after its grace period. This is why every project has a repository from its first day and why the work is pushed as it happens, including one last push before a machine is torn down: the disposable part is the machine, never the code.

Ending it

Delete your account whenever you like, from your account settings, and the account, its canvases and its stored credentials go with it. Murmell may suspend an account that is doing one of the things listed above, and will say which one.
